Mustafa is responsible for the development, management and implementation of Knowledge & Innovation Management. He is also leading the utilization and implementation of new generation technologies and automation methods related to Pipeline Construction; he also leads the NCI Future Trends and Innovation Group in IPLOCA, the focus of the group is to utilize the use of new methods and technologies to improve the construction of new Pipeline Projects.

He co-chaired Pipeline Construction Open Data Standards that became part of the New Generation Pipeline Open Data Standards.

Mustafa is a Guest speaker in several conferences in the Middle East, Asia, the US and Europe.
